Common Name: Chilean Guava
Small leaved evergreen shrub to plant in full sun or partial shade. It has fragrant pale pink flowers in late spring. The round dark red berries are not only attractive, but smell lovely and they are edible, ripening in the autumn.
Grows to about 1.2 metres high. Can be pruned to shape and size required. Moderately hardy, but may need winter protection in cold spells.
