Rubus thibetanus Silver Fern

A prickly number, but attractive! The stems in winter are grey-white and the deciduous foliage is silvery-grey. Small flowers of red-purple are borne in summer, followed by non toxic black berries. Makes new shoots from ground level each year. Prune by removing some of the older stems to keep the best colour. Sunny site.`
