Mitraria coccinea

This low spreading evergreen has dark green glossy leaves and scarlet -orange tubular flowers from late spring through to summer. Although not strictly a climber it does look particularly good when trained against a wall, which really shows shows off the flowers. It is best grown in partial shade in a sheltered position.
