Loropetalum chinense Fire Dance
Evergreen shrub needing a sheltered position in semi-shade. The leaves are a rich bronzy-red and the strap shaped spidery flowers are a shocking pink. Flowering in winter into spring, this is a very striking shrub. In cold areas could be planted in a large container and given protection. (fleece - cold greenhouse etc.) in bad spells of winter weather. Height and spread up 1 metre.
