Common Name: Sea Buckthorn
Very tolerant coastal plant. Grown for its silvery foliage, orange fruits (male and female plants required) and its ability to stand up to harsh conditions. Deciduous and spiny. Useful for windbreaks, hedging and stabilising sand dunes. Up to 6metres but can be pruned to keep more compact shape.
