Eragrostis spectabilis
Common Name: Purple Love Grass
Forms a dense slowly increasing clump. Light green leaves turning reddish in autumn and dying down in winter.In mid-summer the flowers emerge - large panicles of violet spikelets - lasting from July to October. Leafy clumps to 60 cm. Likes sun and damp, but well drained.
