Cornus alba Spaethii
Common Name: Red-barked Dogwood
An easily grown shrub with very attractive red stems and conspicuously golden-variegated leaves. Will grow in wet or dry soils. To get the best effect, they should be pruned hard every other year.
Can form thickets up to 3 metres high.
