Cornus alba Kesselringii
Common Name: Dogwood
A very dark stemmed almost black Cornus variety. Plain green foliage and white flowers followed by white berries. Less vigorous than some varieties and according to the article in ''The Garden'' RHS magazine January 2010 benefits from a three year pruning cycle instead of two year coppicing. Sun or partial shade.
