Coprosma repens
Common Name: Looking Glass Plant
A tender evergreen, used for shelter in the Scilly Isles for example, to protect crops such as the early daffodils. Not very hardy, but withstands harsh coastal conditions in frost free areas. The leaves are very glossy and lush looking. Easy to restrict size by pruning so could be used in a container and given winter protection. Insignificant small creamy flowers. Grow in sun or partial shade.
