Cercis siliquastrum AGM
Common Name: Judas Tree
Beautiful deciduous small tree often multi-stemmed. Clusters of rosy-lilac flowers wreathe the branches in May. The legend is that this is the tree that Judas hanged himself on.
Grow in deep fertile moist but well drained soil, in sun or dappled shade.
