Callistemon viminalis Little John
Compact bushy evergreen shrub with attractive grey-green foliage. Spikes of dark red flowers from spring to mid-summer. Needs a sheltered warm position in full sun and free draining soil. Grows well in milder coastal areas,but will need some winter protection in cold frost prone regions.
Due to its compact habit it would make an ideal specimen for a container.
