Acacia verticillata
Common Name: Prickly Moses
Acacias seem not to be so tender as they were thought to be - or are benefiting from our milder winters.
This evergreen species makes a large bushy shrub and is very prickly. The flowers are pale yellow and rod-shaped, appearing in spring. Needs full sun and some shelter from cold winds.
